Nutrition

Good Nutrition is part of a healthy life and plays a vital role in achieving and maintaining a healthy weight.  The Indiana Healthy Weight Initiative is striving to help Hoosiers eat healthier by making the healthy choice
the easy choice throughout Indiana schools, worksites and communities.

Only 13.5 percent of Indiana adults report eating the recommended amounts of fruits and vegetables every day.   It's more than just a matter of individual choice—our environments must support good nutrition.

The State Indicator Report on Fruits and Vegetables, for the first time, provides information on nutrition behavior and policy and environmental supports in each state.
